Books aren't really my thing. Pretty much all the reading I do is mandatory reading for school. However I did once read this book called Peeps by Scott Westerfeld and I would recommend it, actually I have. I've noticed that right now everyone seems to be in the whole Twilight series. So this book might interest a lot of people. This book has some similarities to Twilight. Its a love story that has to do with vampires or in this case peeps.
Cal Thompson was infected by a parasite. A parasite that gives humans vampire like powers, but its not as cool. Its actually a disease that can cause insanity and one out of every hundred that has been infected stays sane. Luckily Cal is one of them. The others however are called peeps and are somewhat similar to a vampire, well that is what everybody else calls them. Cal has infected his former girlfriend and is on the hunt to find her and seek for the cure of this disease that made her like this, but first he has to find the one who gave it to him.
